Description : The Whitecourt/Woodlands Regional Landfill is located 17 kilometers east of Whitecourt off Highway 43. As part of the landfill operations, all material entering the site is weighed by utilising a 9-meter truck scale. The scale is operated from an adjacent scale house which is a 9-meter portable trailer. Both scale and scale house have reached the end of their life expectancy and require replacement. The Regional Landfill is seeking consultants to determine the requirements for: Replacement of the Truck Scale which will have the following requirements:  27.5 meter in length  Rated for legal tender.  Side barriers  Capable of weights of up to 40 tonnes  An exterior digital display at both ends of the scale.  All associated computer hardware and software to: o Operate the scale. o Store and sort data o Generate Monthly invoices to users. o Printable scale tickets Replacement of the Scale House will have the following requirements:  Operation of the scale  Interact area for landfill users.  House a staff break / locker room for 5-7 staff.  House washrooms  House an office for the landfill manager  4 season operation including A/C.  Prefabricated structure on either metal, concrete, screw piles SCOPE OF SERVI...
