The Quesnel Regional Airport is owned and operated by The City of Quesnel.
The City of Quesnel is requesting proposals from a qualified airport engineering consultant to carry out a final design of the existing runway 13-31, Taxiway A and Apron 1 for the 2022 Rehabilitation Project. This RFP outlines the requirements for the engagement of a qualified airport engineering consultant to assist the Airport Authority in the final design of this project. Due to the nature of this project and the considerable disruption it may have on airport operations and stakeholders, the engineering consultant will work closely with the Quesnel Regional Airport to provide a higher level of planning then would normally occur on a typical paving project.
The Quesnel Regional Airport (YQZ) is located in the Cariboo Region of British Columbia within the City of Quesnel. YQZ's current infrastructure consists of a single paved, lighted (medium intensity) 3C Non-Instrument runway - 13/31.
