Description:
Willow Creek RMU is located within the Livingstone Public Land Use Zone (PLUZ). Willow Creek is comprised of four unique hub areas, Willow Creek East Node, Willow Creek West Nodes, Johnson-s Staging and Johnson-s Camping Node. Willow Creek is situated among valuable Indigenous, environmental, commercial, industrial and agricultural assets within the Livingstone PLUZ.Willow Creek is a popular day use and camping area. The camping nodes and staging areas provided motorized and non‐motorized camping opportunities with access to the extensive motorized trail network, and tracts of wilderness for equestrian and other non‐motorized users. With motorized recreational activities gaining popularity and increased population growth, the utilization pressure at this site requires improvements to ensure the long term sustainability of the area as a recreational resource. The improvements to the site is focused on integrating recreational use within the multi‐use landscape to increase sustainability, accessibility, public safety and regulatory compliance.The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from suitably qualified Proponents who demonstrate sufficient experience and qualification to provide detailed design, secure approvals, prepare tender documents and perform project management and construction monitoring services for the redevelopment of sites as identified and supported by the Project Plan.
