- BC Timber Sales is seeking the services of a qualified, experienced engineering firm to assist in the management of the forest road network within the BC Timber Sales Seaward/tlasta Business Area on an “as and when” basis. Interested companies will be required to submit a proposal in a format that meets all of the requirements described in this RFP package.
Invitation:
The Ministry invites proposals from firms specializing in: Site surveying,Crossing general arrangement designs,Retaining structure designs,Log handling facilities and/or structure designs,Construction review and conformance statements,Project cost estimating, andBridge and Major Culvert inspections related to forest road management.Objective:
The objective of the project is to establish a contract with an engineering firm to provide engineering services described above, andthat the engineering firm has demonstrated it has the resources, capacity and relevant experience to meet the engineering needs of the field teams, andthat the engineering firm ensures BC Timber Sales complies with all legislation and policy related to road management and the associated professional engineering requirementsContract Term:
