Description:
The ministry invites proposals from firms specializing in Geotechnical assessments and forest road construction implementation and monitoring for EN26TFM002 Geotechnical and Construction Support Services contract. The objective of the project is to support the BC Timber Sales, Kootenay Business Areaengineering program. See RFP Documents & Schedules A to A3 for specific works required. The intention of this RFP is to award a 5-year "multi-year" contract, with an option for two additional 1-year renewals. Questions & Answers All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to thefollowing email address: Forests.KootenayTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 12:00 pm on April 23, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by April 24, 2025. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditionsspecified in the ten-der package. The lowest priced or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted. Be aware that BCTS has made changes to its EMS and SFM programs to meet the updated 2022 Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Forest Management Standard. Changes impacting BCTS cli-ents include newtraining requirements (Table 008-1, 008-1A, Tailgate Training, SFI Awareness documents, and new Indigenous rights awareness training, as well as changes to training fre-quency and a new continuing education component).
