  Detailed_Description : Advanced Notice of RFP for Employee Group Benefits & Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)This is advanced notice of Public Health Ontario-s intention to publicly post a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Employee Group Benefits Provider. The RFP is restricted to qualified Canadian proponents only. Non-Canadian proponents are not permitted to participate in this RFP.To be eligible to participate in the upcoming RFP, all interested Canadian proponents must complete all highlighted fields in the attached Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and submit via the online bidding system. Only those proponents that submit a completed NDA document by the Closing Date and Time specified shall be invited to participate in the bid through the bidding system. Proponents that do not submit the completed NDA document shall not be eligible or invited to participate in the upcoming RFP.
  Scope of Work : Public Health Ontario (PHO) requires an Employee Group Benefits Provider for Health (including Health Care Spending Account) and Dental Administrative Services Only (ASO), Short Term Disability (STD) Adjudication Services and Insured Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) & Long-Term Disability (LTD) benefits for approximately nine hundred (900) employees across four (4) different Employee Group Benefit plans as follows:a) Ontario Public Services Employees Union (OPSEU);b) Association of Management, Administrative and Professional Crown Employees of Ontario (AMAPCEO);c) Non-Union & Management; andd) ExecutiveThe successful supplier shall provide PHO with employee benefits coverage (inclusive of carrier transition management services) consisting of Health (including Health Care Spending Account) and Dental Administrative Services Only where PHO is responsible for paying the actual claims cost plus applicable ASO fees and Insured Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Short Term Disability (STD) Adjudication Services and Long-Term Disability (LTD) benefits for all insured employees and/or their dependents. The Health and Dental (ASO) plan design and provisions must match PHO-s current plans, which are aligned with employment agreements and collective agreement obligations for all employee divisions/groups.Please note that services are only provided to current eligible insured employees. Coverage for retirees are excluded.
