PROJECT OVERVIEW:EIPS Board ProfileThe Board of Trustees of Elk Island Public Schools “EIPS” is one of Alberta's largest school divisions, serving approximately 17,500 students in 42 schools. The geographical area includes 19 schools in Sherwood Park, five in rural Strathcona County, five in Lamont County, nine in the City of Fort Saskatchewan and four in Vegreville (County of Minburn).Scope of WorkElk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is requesting Proposals from certified installers for the supply and installation of SafetyShield 800 on windows with wire glass in schools across our division.EIPS expects to select experienced and capable Supplier/Contractor(s) to provide the Goods and Services and enter a Contract. It is EIPS- preference to work with one vendor who will be able to supply all the preferred products and services. Partial Proposals may be considered if pricing, service and added value are optimal. EIPS reserves the right to select more than one vendor based on submissions received. Preference is to work with a vendor who demonstrates corporate social responsibility and has a commitment toward environmental stewardship and sustainability initiatives.
