Description:
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) requires a qualified and capable elevator maintenance service provider for preventative and emergency maintenance services while meeting our unique needs.The CMHR is committed to providing an engaging and respectful environment that promotes a safe visitation experience through quality standards acceptable to its visitors, building occupants, and employees. With guidance from the CMHR Facilities Team and routine management reviews, the CMHR will expect a high level of accountability through communication and reporting from the Contractor in delivering a proactive approach.The incumbent will provide services and maintain all elevators in a proper and safe operating condition and will fully comply with applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal regulations and legislation, by-laws, laws building codes, fire codes, and the Elevator Act which includes CAN/CSA B44-07 Safety Code for Elevators, including supplement CSAB44a-08, and CSAB44b-09, including Appendix N and replacement or successor codes and any and all original equipment and/or specific manufacturer-s recommendations for the entire term of the agreement.
