Summary Details:
Sept 22, 2021 - Closing date has been extended to October 14, 2021.
Sept 16, 2021 - Island Health is soliciting proposals from vendors to provide an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solution and associated EMR implementation and support services for the benefit of Island Health owned and operated UPCC sites.
As of August 2021, up to five UPCC sites are known to be candidates for the procured EMR solution and service set. This would represent approximately ~225 users if all five sites choose to adopt the EMR solution. In addition to UPCC clinic users, a small complement of Island Health corporate staff may require access to the EMR to perform corporate duties - e.g. fulfilling ROI/FOI requests, conducting privacy investigations/audits.
Activations of the selected EMR would begin as early as Fall 2021. Each UPCC would be considered as a separate implementation.
Shortlisted proponents will be asked to provide a demonstration to the evaluation panel. The demonstrations are anticipated to be during the week of Oct 25, 2021.
