- This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for electrical system upgrade as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work").The work is being done in a single storey warehouse building. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of existing electrical distribution system, re-feeding existing branch circuits and panels to new distribution and the switchover to the new distribution system. Work site location will be partially occupied during construction.Preferences:In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this Solicitation is limited to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian suppliers, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion. Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified.Proponents are to bid using the approved product list and/or specifications (which may include U.S. Products), however, following contract award, the successful Pre-Qualified Supplier will be required to work with Government and associated Consultants to substitute some or all U.S. Products ...
