Description:
The Town of Hay River (THR) is completing upgrades to Bob McMeekin Park, including a new welcome monument, an open-air performance structure, and other items for public use. A qualified contractor is required to undertake electrical supply and installation as described below. Related construction services include the supply and operation of mobile equipment, skilled labor through own forces or sub-contract, supervision as well as supply of minor materials as noted within.
The successful bidder shall supply all labor and equipment to complete the following scope items listed by location:
DemolitionRemoval of overhead service conductor. Removal of one (1) wooden service pole and two (2) wooden light standards. Removal of one (1) post mounted meter Removal of buried service cable to existing Welcome sign.SupplyOne (1) weatherproof, lockable cabinet to house the service breaker panel.Breaker panel and breakers – allow for six (6) 15-amp breakers and two (2) 30-amp breakers.Two (2) LED area lights installed on one (1) light standard(minimum 16 ft. in height). Lighting to be 750 W Metal Halide or equivalent. Lighting to be equipped with photocell sensors. Supply of all cable for shallow bury installation as shown on the attached sketch.Supply of all wire, conduit, heavy-duty weatherproof plugs, connectors, and any other material to complete the installation.
