Tender are invited for Electrical Distribution Maintenance Services
Project Description : 480 V - 13.2 kV Electrical Distribution Maintenance, Testing, Inspection and Switching Services:Mount Royal University is seeking a contractor to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and testing on the facility-s existing electrical distribution switchgear. The high voltage maintenance and testing will be done on a five (5) year vault rotation schedule (Effective dates from June 2021 to July 2026) includes 9 vaults; main incoming Vault, Vaults 1- 7, and Central Plant Vault (Sub 1&2). Contractor shall provide all supervision, qualified labour, tools, test equipment, noted material and training to perform all tasks listed within this RFP. Maintenance scope: Torqueing feeders/relays, mechanical inspection feeders and insulation, exercising/lubricating breakers, cleaning breaker and lug cells.Testing scope: infrared scanning, oil samples, analysis and reporting.Switching scope: Racking out and grounding for all maintenance, unit rates for high voltage switching services for both emergency situations and planning construction isolations.Term of ContractMount Royal University intends to establish an initial five (5) year agreement with the Successful Proponent. At the discretion of Mount Royal, this agreement will have the option to be extended for an additional one period of five (5) years under the same terms and conditions, upon positive performance evaluation
