Description:
This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the Board of Trustees of Edmonton School Division (the “Division”) to prospective Electric Energy Suppliers to provide for the financial settlement differences arising from a fixed-for-floating price hedge for electric energy to the Division to meet the Division-s requirements (the “Deliverables”). This project is posted on the Bonfire Project Portal at https://epsb.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/79695.This is an open Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ). The terms of this RFSQ may be found in the revised documents that were uploaded (May 7, 2025) and are available for download on the Bonfire Project Portal at https://epsb.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/79695.All interested Electric Energy Suppliers (that are not on the Qualified Supplier Roster) are advised to get their submissions in right away - as there are second-stage competitive processes (“Request for Quotes”) planned.The submission deadline of December 31st, 2025 is a placeholder - due to the bidding system requiring a submission deadline date. As stated in subsection 3.6.3, "The Division may cancel or amend the RFSQ process without liability at any time...."
