Description : The purpose of the request for proposal is to select a Licensed Interior Designer or a Registered Full-Service Architect (that is experienced in providing Interior Design services & applying flexible workspace design methodologies), that is licensed to practise in Alberta, and will act as Prime Consultant as defined in the Alberta Architects Act. Location: Edmonton Regional Office Address: 4999 - 98th Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB The Prime Consultant is responsible for (including, but not limited to): • Reviewing the Schematic Design documents (completed by a licensed interior design firm contracted directly by the AER) • Design Development (Interior Design, Flexible Workspace design, DE&I, Biophilia, FF&E, Audio Visual, Acoustics, etc.) • Retaining (carry all costs), be responsible for and coordinate the efforts between all disciplines as required to complete the project • Coordination between consultants directly contracted by the AER • Coordination between AER Workplace Services, AER IT, AER Security & AER Safety to confirm project requirements • Construction Documentation • Construction Administration (bidding process management, construction quality control processes, etc.) • Close out procedures • Warranties procedures
