Tender are invited for EAST CALGARY WMF MASTER PLAN UPDATE
Project Description : 1. This RFP is open to pre-qualified firms only. Proponents are invited who have been pre-qualified based on specific information previously submitted through The City-s Prequalification for Engineering and Architectural Consultants RFPQ 06-006. Proposals will only be considered from proponents that have achieved a pre-qualified status in the following discipline(s):Solid Waste Disposal & ProcessingTo view the list of pre-qualified firms, visit www.calgary.ca/prequalification and select “engineering and architectural Services.”2. A Landfill Master Plan (LMP) was developed for the East Calgary Waste Management Facility (EC WMF, the Site) in 2012 detailing sequential landfill cell development, stockpile management, landfill operations and monitoring plans, internal road network, landfill closure and post closure plans, surface water management and financial assessment. The LMP included a detailed plan for ten (10) years and a high-level plan for remainder of the landfill life.This LMP is over ten (10) years old, and a review and updates are required to incorporate changes at EC WMF, and to prepare short- and long-term plans that would better reflect the current and future needs and requirements at the EC WMF.
