Description : This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for an Electrical Contractor for the VGH JPN MDRD Sterilizers Replacement project. The Primary goal of the project is to replace and upgrade the existing 4 Medical Device Sterilizers in Jim Pattison Pavilion North. To facilitate this upgrade, new air compressors will be installed, mechanical upgrades will be performed to the exhaust vent work, building controls to be integrated, and new electrical power will be installed to support all new equipment. The Electrical Contractor is to perform all electrical power installations, and act as Prime Contractor to assume responsibility for site health & safety, infection control measures, and worksite traffic control. Work is anticipated to be completed mid-June until end of September. A mandatory site visit of the proposed work will take place as follows: Date: May 19, 2023 Time: 11:00 AM PST Hospital: Vancouver General Hospital - Tzu Chi Building Address: 767 W 12th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1N1 Entrance: Meet at 12th Avenue entrance.
