- The County of Placer is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations or individuals to provide program services for its Driving Under the Influence (DUI) programs in the South Placer and North Lake Tahoe areas.. These programs aim to reduce the number of repeat DUI offenses by persons who complete a state-licensed DUI Program, and provide participants an opportunity to address problems related to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs.
Placer County currently has two vacant DUI licenses , and seeks proposals to provide services for the following programs:
South Placer - Wet and Reckless, First Offender DUINorth Lake Tahoe - Wet and Reckless, First Offender DUI, Multiple Offender DUIProposers may choose to offer services in one region or both of the above regions, but must provide all services designated with the region. The resulting contract(s) will be effective for an initial term of approximately 18 months, with an option to renew the contract for two additional one-year periods, at the County-s discretion. - Documents:
