Detailed_Description : Venture Ontario is a Board-governed provincial agency whose mandate is to: make investments and manages its interest in venture capital funds and technology companies; provide advice to the Ontario government on venture capital matters; and support the development of Ontario-s venture capital ecosystem and the implementation of the Ontario government-s venture capital policies.
Scope of Work : Venture Ontario is seeking a due diligence service provider to:• Conduct specialized due diligence on fund managers and venture capital investment opportunities (i.e., existing funds, funds in formation, companies, etc.), which includes undertaking background checks (for example, but not limited, to credit checks, criminal, and civil - past and pending proceedings) on funds, related fund entities, and individuals; • Undertake portfolio monitoring and reporting services; and• Undertake secondary valuation support and analysis.
