- The City of Barrie is seeking to enter into a contract with a federally licensed/certified provider of commercial drones to design, deliver, and execute a professional drone show at the Barrie Airshow event on June 6, 2025 over Kempenfelt Bay in Barrie, Ontario. The Drone Show is expected to be safe and creative in nature, featuring various display elements celebrating aviation, women in aviation and Barrie itself.
Proponents are asked to provide the best show possible, for a pre-tax budget price that does not exceed the City-s budget of $30,000 Canadian. All submissions are expected to come in under that amount. Submissions that exceed the budget will be rejected.
