- The Drinkwater Pond Outfall Restoration is located at Chinguacousy Road and Drinkwater Road within Drinkwater Community Park.
Recent severe rainfall events have caused washouts in the overflow and compromised the stormwater outfall pipe. This project will consist of the restoration of the Drinkwater Pond stormwater outfall overflow, and replacement of the erosion control mat. The final product will be newly placed and compacted backfill materials, and a stronger, more robust erosion control system within the overflow to prevent future washout events.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Drinkwater Community Park. Street parking is available on Drinkwater Rd. Bidders are to gather at the pathway access beside 15 Drinkwater Road.
