Description:
The City is seeking detailed bids from qualified engineering consulting firms interested in acting as prime consultant in providing consulting services for the following:
Transit and Rail Project Assessment Process (TRPAP) and Preliminary Design of the Downtown Mobility Hub and Transitway Connection.Led by the prime consultant, the consultant team shall provide consulting services as one coordinated and integrated service. Coordination with the City shall be through the City-s Contract Manager.
The Downtown Mobility Hub is planned to increase the capacity and overall quality of transit service in the Downtown Mississauga core. The Mississauga Transitway is a grade-separated bus only roadway that spans central Mississauga. As part of this assignment, the consultant will plan and design the Mississauga Transitway connections to the future hub and plan the new Downtown Mobility Hub integrated with above-grade development.
