Posting Summary
TransLink has implemented a smart card fare collection system (the Compass system) across its entire conventional transit system. The Compass fare media consists of permanent use electronic fare cards (Compass Cards), roll stock and limited-use electronic tickets (Compass Tickets). Due to the large volume of fare media required to facilitate fare collection, TransLink is seeking bid proposals from qualified, experienced proponents to receive, provide secure storage space, stage for pick up and provide shipping to distribution centres in Metro Vancouver.
