Description:
SUMMARY:
Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan invites Proposals from suitably-qualified and certified commercial diving contractors, for the provision of diving, cleaning and video inspection services for the District-s potable water infrastructure at various locations within the boundaries of the Central Okanagan, on an ‘if, as, and when required- basis.
As a result of this RFP, the District will select one preferred Contractor that will enter into a Standing Offer Agreement for provision of the aforementioned services for an initial term of 3 years, commencing on April 1st 2025 and expiring March 31st, 2028. The Term of the Standing Offer Agreement may be extended by two further years, from April 1st, 2028 to March 31st, 2030 at the District-s sole option and subject to mutual agreement between the parties on extension pricing and terms. While the District fully intends to utilize the Contractor to perform most of the diving, cleaning and inspections services required by the District for its water infrastructure; the District does not guarantee any minimum quantity of services or that the Contractor will be the exclusive provider of such services during the Standing Offer Agreement term.
