- REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS The City invites Quotations from experienced and qualified Contractors for the provision of digital colour print production equipment. As a result of the current agreement ending May 1st, 2026, the City requires digital colour print production equipment located at the City-s print shop. The equipment will be new equipment only. No used, reconditioned, or remanufactured equipment is acceptable. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labour, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary to supply, deliver, install and maintain the Good(s) and any spare parts and performance of the Services in accordance with this RFQ. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The Contractor will supply one (1) Quotation for two (2) machines. Both engines should be the same for quality colour consistency for jobs that are run in tandem. There are no special requirements for machine footprints or physical size. PREFERRED TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Functionalities (Preferred): (i) Print Engine: • Speed: Minium 70 ppm or faster • Resolution: 1200 x 1200 dpi or higher • Duty Cycle: Suitable for monthly volume stated above • Registration: high accuracy front-to-back (ii) Media Handling: • Supported sizes: Up to 13" × 19" or larger • Paper weight: from 63 to 400 gsm (including duplex) • Substrates: Coated, uncoated, textured, synthetics (iii) Finishing Options: • Booklet making (stitch, trim, square fold) • Stapling, hole punching, folding • Hole punch (e.g. 2- and 3-hole punch) • Opt...
