Description:
The Township is seeking Quotations for the approximately 580 meter mechanical brushing and clean out of the Dewesbury Award drain located within Lot 26 Concession 3, formerly Flos Township (3681 Flos Road 4 West) as further described in Schedule 1 of this RFQ.
Bid Bond is required.
Contract Security
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a separate Labour and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 50% of the sum, with a Guarantee Surety Company authorized by Law to carry on business in the Province of Ontario and having an office in Ontario and shall guarantee all conditions set out in the Contract. The expense of obtaining the Performance Bond is to be borne by the successful Bidder.
If the successful Bidder does not provide the required bonds, the Township may select another Bidder or cancel the RFQ process.
Annual Performance bonds must be renewed annually.In the event that multi-year performance bonds are provided, such bonds shall have an initial term of one year and renew annually to guarantee the performance of all obligations of the Contract.
Failure to provide evidence that the Performance Bond has been renewed may result in the withholding of the monthly payment or the forfeiture of the Contract at the option of the Township.
