Synopsis: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS), Ministry of Social Services (MSS) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of one (1) 4-space Developmental/Medical Group Home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. At this time alternate locations are not being considered. The group home will be available to provide services to children and youth who are in the care of MSS and receiving services under the Child and Family Services Act, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). A Developmental/Medical Group Home provides a family like environment for children up to age 18 (age 21 with extension of support services) with developmental and/or medical needs that may require full time nursing care, including children who are on the Autism Spectrum or affected by other disabilities, seizure disorders, acquired brain injuries, require transfers, repositioning and lifts, fully reliant on wheelchairs, unable to take care of basic hygiene and are fully dependent on caregivers for their day to day needs.
