Description : The objective of the RFP is to select a Proponent with proven experience to develop (i.e., design, build, test, launch, and facilitate integration with the existing online platform) and maintain (i.e., bug fixes, implementation of software version updates, and a bank of hours for requested refinements) a mobile app for the OLP. The Project-s key objectives are: Improve the application experience - Facilitate the application process by making it easier to scan and upload required documents, and to receive immediate status updates from the OLP database via a mobile app. Open a new line of communication - Send reminders, updates, and marketing messages to specific program candidates or participants using ad hoc notifications. Improve engagement post program completion - Keep participant engagement going after the program, and encourage participation again in the same or a different program. For the OLP, the ultimate outcomes are to increase annually the number of candidates who: apply to each official languages program; and remain until program completion (retention).
