Description:
The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region-s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposals. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Detailed Design, Contract Administration and Site Inspection Services for the Stouffville Zone 1 Elevated Tank Access Road, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).
The main objectives of the Stouffville Zone 1 Elevated Tank Access Road are to:
Construct a new access road to the Stouffville Zone 1 Elevated Tank from Bethesda RoadReplace the soak-away pit with a holding tank and future sanitary service connection Install a new re-chlorination system within the elevated tank Improve the site grading to resolve storm drainage issues and building floodingImprove the stormwater management including a secondary outlet to Bethesda Road to accommodate major storm eventsAcquire property for the new access road (if required)For complete bid details please refer to the RFP documents.
