Description:
WSA intends to engage an engineering consultant to complete the detailed design of hydrotechnical upgrades at the Candle Lake Control Structure. Summarized at a high level, the scope includes: - Pre-design site assessment work such as topographic and bathymetric surveying, and geotechnical exploration; - Design of a retrofit hydraulic jump stilling basin including all appurtenances and related reports and analyses; - Provision of drawings, specifications, and work instructions for replacement of the existing radial gates; - Design of Public Interaction Around Dam (PIAD) elements such as signage, fencing, and debris/safety booms; - Design for construction support such as sizing and minimum requirements for cofferdams and diversion channels; - Procurement and permitting support; - Office- and Field-based Construction support; and - Provision of as-built drawings and project turnover package.
