Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "Tender for DECEPTION GULCH DAM LOW LEVEL OUTLET (LLO) UPGRADES, IWS 2025-027" will be received by Jeannette Zheng, Purchaser, Integrated Water Services of the Capital Regional District at their offices at 479 Island Highway, Victoria, British Columbia up to 2:00 pm local time on July 24, 2025, at which time they will be opened "in private". The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: Upgrades to the Deception Gulch Dam Low Level Outlet (LLO) • Demolition and removal of items noted in the contract documents, including but not limited to, water control gate valve, piping, hydraulic hoses, etc. • Abandonment of air vent pipe to include installation of Controlled density fill (CDF) in existing air vent pipe. • Excavation and backfilling around or near the dam face to facilitate the replacement of the air ventilation piping. • Supply and installation of cast-in-place concrete extension wall. • Assembly and installation of water control gate valve. • Supply and installation of air ventilation piping and conduit with concrete encasement. • Supply and installation of hydraulic hosing and hydraulic power unit (HPU) • Submission of an Environmental Management Plan, Site Specific Safety Plan, water bypass or pumping plan.
