Description:
This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by St. Joseph-s Care Group (SJCG) for the purpose of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future procurement options or requirements. Respondents are asked to respond to SJCG and provide the information requested in Section 3.0 of this document.SJCG is interested in identifying and understanding the extent/availability of Data Migration, Archiving and Downtime solution specific to the healthcare sector as further described in Section 3.0 of this document. In addition to data migration and archiving tools, a downtime solution is required to manage and minimize the impact of both planned and unplanned system and network outages ensuring continuity and operational efficiency in care delivery. Providing near real-time access to critical clinical data with view-only functionality, maintaining admissions, transfers, and discharges integrity, and redundant access through standalone PCs is also needed during complete network outages.Background InformationThere are over 100 organizations providing health care services in Northwestern Ontario, including 12 hospital organizations that provide a broad spectrum of services in urban, rural and remote communities.
