- This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the selection of a General Contractor for the D823-00 UBCH Acute Orthopedic Services Relocation project. The project is a renovation in the northeast end of the main floor of Koerner Pavilion at UBC Hospital (UBCH). The renovations will include changes to offices, meeting rooms, patient exam rooms, and the creation of a new surgical Implants storage room. This work will include alterations to walls, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and the installation of new data cabling throughout the project area. The project will be phased with the first phase focusing on the creation of the new Bernstein boardroom, and the surgical implant storage room, as clean access will be required to the existing implant storage rooms that are located within the main area to be renovated for the new Acute Orthopedic services department area.
