- The Cypress Lake complex was constructed by the Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration in the early 1950-s. The main pieces of infrastructure are East and West dams which diverts the Battle Creek and impounds the Frenchman River to create Cypress Lake. The outlets from the Cypress West Dam feed a local irrigation scheme as well as provide water for canals servicing the Vidora / Consul area. The purpose of this RFQ is to engage an engineering consultant to complete various upgrade and repair work to the Cypress West outlet structure, the west side inlet canal into Cypress Lake, and the Vidora Wasteway.
