Description:
Summary:Through this Request for Expressions of Interest (“RFEOI”), the Regional District of Central Okanagan (the “District”) is seeking submissions from experienced training consultants and/or technology providers to inform the potential development of a Syilx / Okanagan Cultural Safety and Humility Training Program for staff of the Central Okanagan Regional Emergency Management program.
The purpose of this RFEOI is to gather information that will guide a potential future procurement process. Specifically, the District is looking to:
Identify qualified and interested consultants or vendors capable of delivering components of the proposed program.Determine the capacity of respondents to provide both the cultural training content and the technology solution (e.g., online portal or digital modules), either individually or as a comprehensive, integrated service.Explore innovative approaches and solutions that align with the District-s objectives for respectful, culturally informed emergency management practices in Syilx communities.This RFEOI is not a call for tenders or proposals, but rather an opportunity for the District to assess market interest and capabilities. Respondents should note that, pursuant to Part B of this RFEOI, the District reserves the right to limit any future procurement process related to this Program to only those organizations that provide a Submission to this RFEOI.
