Description : The purpose of this negotiated request for proposal (RFP) is to receive proposals from vendors that can provide credit and identity theft monitoring services. By virtue of BCLC's legislative mandate to conduct and manage gaming on behalf of the Province of British Columbia, and its various business channels and operations associated therewith, player, customer, employee, and other third-party personal information is collected pursuant to British Columbia's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act ("FIPPA"). As a commercial Crown corporation working for the benefit of British Columbians, BCLC is committed to safeguarding this personal information and protecting the personal privacy of those whose information it holds. Accordingly, BCLC is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive credit and identity theft monitoring to individuals in the event that personal information within BCLC's custody or control, which may include information held by third parties on BCLC's behalf, becomes compromised and BCLC determines that offering such services is a reasonable mitigation.
