Description:
The Contractor shall complete all repairs identified in the “Crane & Hoist Periodic Visual Inspection” report (see Attachment 1 to this Statement of Work). This includes addressing all deficiencies listed in sections 1.01 through 6.01. All repairs must be conducted by a certified crane technician present on-site. The Department of National Defense (DND) conducted a visual inspection of the crane and identified multiple deficiencies resulting from various causes, including normal wear and tear, inadequate maintenance, a power plant fire, and substandard workmanship. These deficiencies have rendered the crane unsafe and unfit for use. The inspection findings are documented in the “Crane & Hoist Periodic Visual Inspection” report, which is included with this Request for Proposal. Repairs are critical to restoring the crane to a safe and operational condition. The Contractor must ensure all work is performed to the highest standards to address the issues outlined in the report effectively.
