- Island Health has issued this Request for Proposals for the purpose of inviting proposals from construction management firms to undertake services and construction as outlined in the RFP document. The main scope of the project will involve the replacement of up to 24 exiting doors and frames with wider doors and frames. The intention of the renovation is to improve egress for emergency evacuation purposes. The scope of work will also include other renovations to suite the new layout including wall and floor patching, painting, electrical switch relocation, sprinkler pipe relocation, etc). This work will be split into 12 separate phases (2 rooms per phase) and will take place in the Senior Wing of the Cowichan Lodge Residential Centre located at 2041 Tzouhalem Road in Duncan.
