Detailed_Description : Cooking Services will be required for no less than 20 people and up to 75 people, however, the Ministry will advise the # of people at the time of the request. The Ministry relies on cooking services at these training events to be provided upon request, generally during the annual fire season, which is a period from April 1 to October 31.
Scope of Work : The Supplier must provide the number of personnel necessary to carry out the Cooking Services at any of the two (2) specific Ministry facilities, including but not limited to performing the following responsibilities:- Establishing, planning, preparing, and serving meals at the Ministry-s location, which may include 2 or 3 meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), generally for no less than 20 people and up to 75 people- Establishing and maintaining the required food supply based on the 14-Day Menu guidelines (Appendix B)- Ordering, purchasing, arranging for, and/or providing transportation and delivery, receiving and handling of all food requirements for meals on a daily basis- Operated and maintained the food preparation area, kitchen area, serving area, dishwashing area, and dining areas in clean and hygienic condition in accordance with Regulation 493 Food Premises Act.The Ministry will be responsible for providing the facility at the location where the service is required. The facility will include areas for food preparation, cooking, serving, refrigeration, and freezer storage.
