Control Barriers at Entrances & Replace Wrought Iron Gate &Overhead Garage Doors

Description : Establish control barriers at the road entrance and exit to the tunnel. The tunnel exit door (Sussex/York) is comprised of rubber and requires either steel overhead doors in front/behind the existing rubber overhead door or iron gates similar to those at the entrance (as per RCMP Guide G1-005). Install window glazing (7mm) on ground level windows as per RCMP Guide G1-005 Section A.3.3. Remove and replace the wrought iron gate with a gate of similar or higher quality. Remove and replace three (3) overhead garage doors located at the North and South elevations with new doors of equal or higher quality; two of the doors are roll-up style equipped with automatic door openers and provide access to the tunnel; the smaller overhead door provides access to the entrance of the parking garage on Basement Level 1. The parking garage door opens and closes automatically and is controlled by sensors that control the flow of traffic in and out of the parking area.
