Description:
Scope of Work/Overview:There is currently an issue with the height of current two (2) overhead roll up doors locatedon the North Side of the Commercial / Warehouse Building at the Prescott Port-of-Entry.CSBA officers are required to offload the contents of a transport trailer through these overheaddoors. However, the current 2440 mm high doors are lower than the height of some trailers.As such, due to the current height of the existing doors these larger trailers cannot be easilyunloaded and require their contents to be transferred by hand back and forth. This requiresa significantly greater time amount of time and is considerably more physically strenuouswork.This project proposes to remove the existing overhead doors and install new doors of greaterheight. By increasing the door height to 3050 mm, these new doors will be able toaccommodate trailers of all heights up to and including high cube trailers and high cube seacontainers entering Canada. This will allow CBSA Officers to off load box trailers and stagethe contents straight out of the trailer.Please See "Spec" & "Drawing" for detailed scope of work Anticipated award date: August 31, 2025 Anticipated construction end date: December 19, 2025
