Description : The City of Vancouver (the "City") invites Tenders for general construction services to complete Phase 1 the Bridgeway Slope Rehabilitation project which aims to address immediate safety concerns related to a section of the Trans Canada Trail. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to: (a) Deconstruction and disposal of existing timber half-structure and associated waste material; (b) Construction of a new soldier pile wall with concrete lagging backfilled with lean mix concrete and resurface with an asphalt pavement to connect with the existing pedestrian trail, including precast roadside barriers and fencing. The Site is located between the intersection of Bridgeway St. and North Skeena St., and the underside of the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge, in Vancouver, BC. Tenderers are invited to attend an information meeting (the "Information Meeting") on August 31, 2021 commencing at 10:00 A.M. The location of the Information Meeting will be: at the empty lot at the intersection of Bridgeway St. and North Skeena St., Vancouver, British Columbia.
