Description:
The Corporation of the Township of Langley requests Quotations for sediment pond cleaning works (‘the Work”) at 7090 - 272 Street, Langley, BC. The quantity of sediment excavation within the Nathan Creek sediment pond is estimated to be 1450 m3. The Work will need to be completed within the summer in-stream works (ISW) window between August 1 to September 15, 2025.
The Services shall include at minimum the following:
• Mobilization/de-mobilization
• Environmental protection and ESC measures
• Excavate/remove material from sediment pond and on-site stockpile
• Flow isolation and pumping bypass
Co-ordination with the Township-s project management staff and the Township-s environmental monitor will be required for the duration of the works. ESC (erosion and sediment control) and environmental protection measures will need to be followed during the Work. Flow isolation and or pump bypass set-up is expected during the time of the Work.
