Description : Newfoundland & Labrador Health Services (NLHS) is administering this tender to submit proposals for supply, education and support service for Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). This will be in accordance with the specifications and requirements set out in this open call, as well as the Public Procurement Act. The term of the agreement will be for a contract period of Two (2) years with an option to extend for an additional One (1) year. This Tender may be awarded to more than one supplier. Supplier selection shall be based on clinical assessment and patient preferences. A continuous glucose monitor (CGM) is a wearable device that tracks blood glucose (sugar) throughout the day and night. A CGM includes a small disposable sensor that is worn under the skin (often on the stomach or arm). The sensor tests sugar levels every few minutes and sends this information to an attached transmitter and, usually, to a separate receiving device, such as a smart phone. This is a ‘standalone- CGM.
