- The City invites bids from qualified engineering firms to provide complete consulting services for the design, tender preparation, procurement support, and construction administration services for the Dixie-Dundas Flood Mitigation Project generally located along Little Etobicoke Creek from upstream of Dixie Road to downstream of Dundas Street in Mississauga, Ontario.
The City intends to eliminate the spilling of Little Etobicoke Creek to protect flood-vulnerable residences and businesses and to intensify the Dixie-Dundas area to fulfill a vision of growth expressed in the Dundas Connects Master Plan. This flood mitigation plan is a high-priority City project being accelerated for construction completion in 2028.
