Description:
This Invitation to Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara (“Niagara Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for 2025-T-93 Consulting Services - 200 Division St. Renovation Project, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The Niagara Region is seeking a qualified architectural firm to act as Prime Consultant to renovate the Niagara Region-s Public Health building. The Region is looking for an experienced architectural firm that will provide value to the project with demonstrated ability in delivering this type of project in scope, on time and on budget with specific emphasis on quality and performance.
The Public Health Building being considered for renovation is located at 200 Division Street in Welland, Ontario. The building was built in 1982, was acquired by the Niagara Region is 2008 and renovated to it-s current state, a dedicated Public Health Facility, in 2009. The building is currently underutilized, along with another facility located within the same municipality, the Social Assistance and Employment Opportunities (SAEO) office located at 250 Thorold Road, Welland. The main objective of this project is relocate the SAEO Team to the 200 Division St. location to increase efficiency and leverage shared resources/spaces, like the main reception area, lunch room, meeting rooms, etc..
