The City of Barrie is seeking the services of a Consulting Engineering firm, with experience in structural inspection, to undertake a detailed visual inspection program of bridges, culverts and retaining walls located within the City. As detailed in Ontario Regulation (O.Reg.) 104/97 “Standards for Bridges”, under the current Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, structures are required to be inspected every two (2) years in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation - Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM). This contract shall cover one (1) full inspection cycle (two years), with a provision to extend for two (2) additional inspection cycles (two additional two-year terms). - Documents:
