Description:
Yellowhead County currently maintains an inventory of approximately 175 bridge file structures including standard, major and bridge size culverts structures.Yellowhead County would like to retain the services of an engineering consultant for bridge replacement. Proponent to provide services including but not limited to; Preliminary Engineering, Obtaining all Regulatory Environmental Approvals, Detailed Design, Utilities/Land, Tender Preparations and Award, Construction Administration, Post Construction and Legal Survey.During the 2023 flood event, significant damage was done to the approaches at BF 07552 that left the structure impassable. An assessment of the structure was completed with the recommendation that the existing structure be replaced with a new structure consisting of a 3 Span Standard SL-510 Girder Bridge on Steel Substructure. BF 07552 is located on Range Road 170, approximately 1.51 km south of Twp Rd 542 crossing the Edson River within Yellowhead County, Alberta.The project's scope encompasses various tasks, including but not limited to the following:Task 1: Preliminary Engineering: Project initialization, file review, bridge site survey and field investigation and site review, hydrology review, structure and grade line review, and right of way review design and land acquisition requirements (will include negotiations with landowners, legal land surveys), geotechnical investigations / environmental & wetland assessments and reviews as required, utility review...
