Information for Proponents
The Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District, hereinafter referred to as the "Corporation", invites Proposals for the Consulting Engineering Services Proposals for Electrical Studies and Upgrades at the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
SCOPE
The Annacis Island WWTP Electrical Studies and Upgrades Project consists of two main work scopes, which are herein identified; the main work scopes are summarized as follows:
Plant Wide Electrical Study
- Visit AIWWTP to collect information on electrical equipment.
- Review of existing electrical equipment for short circuit withstand and interruption capabilities.
- Review of existing electrical protection settings to identify any short comings and deficiencies.
- Recommend improvements to the protection scheme and equipment.
- Perform protection system coordination for voltage, frequency, phase faults and ground faults events.
- Perform arc-flash risk assessment per CSA Standard Z462-2021.
- Perform arc-flash calculations and adhere labelling on impacted equipment and locations.
- Provide onsite commissioning and testing support for protection system modifications.
