    Description : Request for Proposal: Toolkit for implementing IDEALSS | Demande de propositions: Trousse d-outils pour la mise en œuvre de l-initiative IDÉALSSThe MHCC is seeking a consultant to develop a toolkit to guide the implementation of IDEALSS, a proposed comprehensive, integrated equity framework to guide mental health policy and programming.To help streamline guidance on how to integrate core equity-focused concepts, the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) undertook a needs assessment, including a literature scan and internal and external consultations. Findings of the project are summarized in Toward an Integrated and Comprehensive Framework for Mental Health Policy and Programming: Needs Assessment Report. Based on the report-s recommendations, a proposed integrated and comprehensive equity framework, currently titled IDEALSS, was developed and is currently being refined. IDEALSS brings together concepts from a range of equity frameworks including Intersectionality, Decolonization, Health Equity, Anti-Racism, Lived and Living Experience, Sex and Gender-Based Analysis and Social Determinants of Health.To accompany the refined framework, the MHCC plans to develop focused implementation supports to guide policy and...
