Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Upper Canada District School Board (“UCDSB”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Consultant Services - We Were Here Project, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Board is seeking a consultant to facilitate and lead the UCDSB-s We Were Here project. The We Were Here project aims to create meaningful connections between community partners, schools, and the curriculum by focusing on local, national, and global history, with a particular emphasis on Canadian history through primary evidence research. Key components include soldier research, digital archiving, and educational programs that enhance students' understanding of historical events and their civic duties. The project involves workshops for teachers and students, development of bilingual digital assessment tools, and creation of customized resources to support differentiated learning and engagement with Canadian history.
